A fireplace screen sits in front of the fireplace and can be moved. A fireplace door is mounted permanently to the fireplace and has doors which can be opened and closed.
Which to choose? It all depends on your needs. if you want to keep infants and pets out of the fireplace, go with a door. If you want something more decorative with no installation, choose a screen.
There are two types of doors, those for prefabricated boxes and those for built-in-place boxes. To get an idea of how much the doors will cost you, bring us the approximate width and heigth of your opening. Once you decide on the style door you want, we can come out to take exact measurements.
